FrozenPlain Personal License
Definitions used in this license
“FrozenPlain” refers to FrozenPlain Ltd., a company registered in England. “Product” refers to the digital files obtained from FrozenPlain or its authorised partners after purchasing a Personal License, using a redemption code or downloading a free FrozenPlain product. “You” refers to the individual who has accessed our Product.
What you can do
FrozenPlain grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Use the Product for creating your own new sound-recordings and performances, such as: songs, soundtracks, sound effects, interactive media, broadcasts, live music and audio/video post-production. You may use the Product for commercial or non-commercial purposes without needing to credit or pay royalties to FrozenPlain. FrozenPlain claims no rights over your new creations.
- Install the Product on any number of computers under your control, provided you remain the primary user and do not share access to the Product with others.
- Create and retain backups of the Product in any storage locations as long as access to these backups is not shared with others.
- Integrate the Product into your personal workflow: reorganise the Product, create custom instruments with it, and convert file formats for your own use, provided you keep the license information with all changes and do not share them with others.
What you can’t do
This License does not allow you to:
- Share, sell, rent, trade, or distribute the Product, either as a whole or in parts, to another person or entity.
- Create new production tools — such as sample libraries, loop packs, audio plugins, audio file packs, or synths — for distribution to others that incorporate the Product’s files or sounds, whether in original or modified form.
- Transfer or sell your license to use the Product to another person or entity. This license is personal and non-transferable.
Lifetime access
Your right to use this Product continues indefinitely unless you breach these license terms or your refund request has been granted. In either case, you must delete all copies of the Product from all devices and storage locations.
FrozenPlain won’t fundamentally change these terms
FrozenPlain may modify these terms to fix technical errors (such as spelling, grammar and factual mistakes), resolve contradictions, close unintended loopholes, and improve clarity through better wording, organisation or examples. These changes will only serve to better express and protect the license's existing purpose, not to alter it.
FrozenPlain owns the Product
This Product is owned and copyrighted by FrozenPlain. This license grants you rights to use the product accord to these terms.
FrozenPlain isn’t liable for damages
While FrozenPlain strives for quality and provides support, we are not liable for any damages arising from software defects or malfunctions.
Disputes will be resolved in England
These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes arising from them will be resolved in the English courts.
