Terms for using our products

By installing any FrozenPlain software, or taking any step to use them, you agree to the terms and conditions below. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use FrozenPlain software.

Glossary

• By ‘products’ or ‘product’ we mean any software product made by FrozenPlain, free or paid; regardless of if the product was bought from frozenplain.com or another store.
• By ‘you’ we mean the user of the product.

1. Preamble

1.1 We may change these terms

FrozenPlain reserves the right to alter these terms at any time without notice. We recommend regularly revisiting this page. However, effort will be made to notify you of any substantial changes.

1.2 Products are provided under a licence

Products are provided under a licence. Purchase of the product does not constitute ownership. The products are created by – and are copyright of – FrozenPlain.

1.3 Products are used at your own risk

Use of the product is at your own risk. FrozenPlain is not responsible for any loss caused by the product.

1.4 Termination

The licence is terminated if you break any of the terms or conditions of this agreement, and you must terminate all use of FrozenPlain products and remove them from everywhere that you installed them.

2. What you can do:

2.1 Create music/sound effects

You may use the product for any commercial or non-commercial content-creation and/or production, such as in music-for-media, sound effects, live audio or similar production use. You do not need any permission to do this, or attribute FrozenPlain in any way.

2.2 Install the product on any of your personal computers

You may install and backup the product on multiple computers, provided you are the sole user of the machines.

2.3 Show the products to others for demonstration/entertainment

You may show the products to others in any way, so long as it is for the purpose of demonstration, education, review or entertainment. For example: creating review videos or website articles.

3. What you can’t do:

3.1 Share/transfer the products with others

You cannot transfer, sell or trade our products to another person or entity; this licence is bound to you.

3.2 Disassemble the products

You may not disassemble or attempt to derive source code from the product.

3.3 Take components and use them to make other products

You may not directly take any aspect of the product – such as the graphics, audio samples or source code – and create a new sample library, plugin or product that could be in competition with it.

3.4 Remove licence information

You may not remove, alter, or obfuscate any licence information from the product.
